Demon’s Souls 2 Hinted at by SCEJ

Judging by the critical and commercial success Demon’s Souls received upon its release, it would only make sense that Sony would jump on the opportunity to unveil a sequel. Although the game’s developer From Software may be busy with Project Dark, SCEJ has still given hope of a Demon’s Souls successor.
SCE Japan Studio’s Takeshi Kajii told The Guardian:
“At the moment, my answer is ‘no sequel!’. However, we have been encouraged by all the players, and this title is so well supported, and besides we like this title so much…. Well, this is my own feeling, but I think one day we could bring you another Demon’s Souls…”

Dude! how awesome would it be if they released DLC that let us fight the “giants” I always imagined that place to be a giant field with monsters the size of Vanguard walking around….and they are ALL like that!
eh. I’m kinda neutral on this. I just didn’t have the love for this game that other people seem to. I felt like it had a lot of potential, and was incredibly hindered by all the things that made this game incredibly tedious, which for some people translates to “difficult”, but really no matter how I look at it, the game is tedious. If they change that, then absolutely (difficult is definitely okay in my book, for the record).

Make it happen. I love demons soul with a passion. Even the challenge. Although i would like DLC. But a sequel will do justice to this franchise.
Even if they make a true sequel to DS, what is Project Dark then? Just a game that LOOKS like Demons Souls but isnt then? We shall see.
Hopefully with move support. A game like demon souls with 1.1 weapon control would be an automatic win for me.

That doesn’t even make a little but of sense.
How does it coming to more consoles make it not a sequel? That doesnt make sense. Not an exclusive sequel, but a sequel nonetheless. I dont want to see it go multiplat but that doesnt change the fact that it would be a sequel if the story is continued.
Project Dark IS DEMON’S SOULS 2….at least to me, I don’t have to wait much longer.
Project Dark isn’t Demon’s Souls2.SCEJ in collaboration with From Software made Demon’s Souls and Sony owns the Ip.
We don’t know anything about Project Dark for all we know they could focus mostly on the multiplayer part which sucks.
Sony put aside these bullshit “not at the moment” quotes and get it started already before the hype tones down.there is a good ammount of demand for a sequel.make it happen while also throw in some move support and add a very easy difficulty for those that couldn’t stand the 1st and you’ve got a AAA title which will be a huge success

by your logic then GT 5 prologue is the real GT5 no need to wait for the upcoming GT5
Hope that all of the player support will mean that Atlus and Sony will not shut down the servers next year.
