These Super Street Fighter IV Costumes Would Have Been Great on Halloween

11/03/2010 Written by Corey Schwanz

While fighting games may not necessarily be the prime destination for downloadable expansion packs, Capcom doesn’t look to let that stop them on charging consumers for content. What is it this time? Even more costumes, of course!

Halloween would have made sense to release the Ultimate Shoryuken Pack for Ryu, Ken, Dan, Gouken and Akuma, but why would a successful company do something that makes sense? You can buy this costume pack for the low, low price of $3.99. That translates to about 80 cents per costume, so that doesn’t seem like that bad of a deal unless you’re counting pennies at the counter. These are available on the PSN Store right now, so get to dressing up!

It makes sense because it has nothing to do with Halloween. Vanilla Street Fighter IV had multiple costume packs, and the first Super Street Fighter IV [Arcade Edition] costume pack was out last week.
