Fight Night Throwing a Champion Left Hook Q1 2011

Get your boxing gloves out of the attic and go purchase some smelling salts because EA has revealed that Fight Night Champion, the latest game in the Fight Night series will be releasing Q1 2011.

Fight Night Champion will feature a new single-player mode which EA promises will “break the mold of what is expected in single player”. Gamers will also find around 65 boxers at their disposal, and a new system of control called “Full Spectrum Punch Control”. You can also expect amazing visuals and a true to life boxing experience.

So look for Fight Night Champion on store shelves next year.

  1. Move enabled? I assume multiplatform, so… Kinect enabled? I bet that’d be fun, throw a punch and watch it happen 3 seconds later. Hah, anyway, while not my style of game, I tried the demo for Round 4 and I thought the unique control scheme was pretty cool.

  2. Meh. More of the same. Just a money grab, like Maddens’ 4-11 and FIFA 3-10. A little tweak here, a little tweak there, graphic update, throw in some stuff no one wants and bam: $60.00 I’m done with it.
