Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy (Platinum)Earn every single Gran Turismo 5 Trophy.

– Collect the other 58 trophies.

National B License (Bronze) Complete the B license.

– This will be the first license you go for since a level 0 is required. You will need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. These events are the bare basics to learning to drive on Gran Turismo, the cars are slower, the distances are shorter and the overall times are more generous. Basic driving skills are needed to get bronze here. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

National A License (Bronze) Complete the A license.

– You will need to finish “National B License” first as well as be at level 3. If you received mostly silvers and golds on the National B license then you should already be at level 3. Once it’s available you need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. These events are a bit more difficult, with cars being a little quicker and times being a little shorter. But even with the step up in difficulty you should not have any problem getting bronze in each event. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

International C License (Bronze) Complete the International C License.

– You will need to finish “National B License” & “National A License” first as well as be at level 6. At this point you will need to start doing some races to reach level 6, but ultimately you should reach level 6 only a few hours into play. Once it’s available you need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. These events get a little harder as the cars are quicker, plus you will also have to deal with some dirt tracks. Even so, if you’ve played some regular races, your skills should improve enough that getting the bronze trophies are still pretty easy. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

International B License (Bronze)Complete the International B License.

– You will need to finish “National B License“, “National A License” & “International C License” first as well as be at level 9. You definitely will need to put in some time racing to get to level 9, as it will take a bit of experience. Once it’s available you need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. These license tests are even rougher, like the others the speed is increased and the time is decreased. You have a harder dirt level and now there is a snow level thrown in as well. Experienced GT players should still have a relatively easy time getting the bronze trophies, but if your still new to the series you may need to practice more. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

International A licenseComplete the International A License.

– You will need to finish “National B License“, “National A License”, “International C License” & “International B License” first as well as be a level 12. Once its available you need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. I felt like this license really started to test my skills as an experience GT player. The challenges are a lot longer with, snow and dirt, the times are shorter and cars are pretty quick. Some challenges you will probably need to play a few times, but keep at it and you will get this trophy with time. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

Super License (Bronze)Complete the S License.

– You will need to finish “National B License“, “National A License”, “International C License” & “International B License” & “International A license” first as well as be a level 15. Once it’s available you need to get bronze or better on all 10 events. This is the most complicated of all the license tests. Every event will have you competing in a one lap race trying to pass everyone. Take your time and choose your passing well as running off the track or making contact will disqualify you. Trophy will unlock when you exit back to GT life screen.

Beginner Series Complete (Bronze)Complete the Beginner series of Race Events.

– This is the first and easiest series, and is open from the start. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race range from level 0 – level 4, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Amateur Series Complete (Bronze) Complete the Amateur series of Race Events.

– This is the second series and will unlock once you reach level 5.  These races are a little harder, but too bad. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race’s range from level 5 – 9, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Professional Series Complete (Bronze) Complete the Professional series of Race Events.

– This is the third series and will unlock once you reach level 10.  These races are even harder, and will need more skill, but you can still get by with an over powered car. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race’s range from level 10 – 14, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Expert Series Complete (Bronze) Complete the Expert series of Race Events.

– This is the fourth series and will unlock once you reach level 15. Your skill will really be put to the test here as the races are longer and the opponents are tougher. Simply having an extremely fast car is no longer the key as you will now need more skill to win. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race’s range from level 15 – 19, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Extreme Series Complete (Bronze) Complete the Extreme series of Race Events.

– This is the fifth series and will unlock once you reach level 20.  This series is when you will need to start grinding out races to gain experience and money. The opponents are even more difficult and cars are pretty evenly matched. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race’s range from level 20 – 24, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Endurance Series Complete (Bronze) Complete the Endurance series of Race Events.

– This is the sixth and last series and will unlock once you reach level 25.  This series is not only tough, but also time-consuming, races typically run four hours plus with some even longer. You also will need to do a ton of grinding to reach the higher levels. The series is made up of nine different events, each requiring different makes, models and year. Race’s range from level 25 – 40, and will need a bronze or better on either A-Spec or B-Spec mode.

Gran Turismo Karting Experience (Bronze)Complete the “Gran Turismo Karting Experience” Special Event.

– This is pretty straight forward since there is only one kart to choose from. You will need to rely on other karts as you really can take advantage of slip streams. Pull up behind them and use them to gain speed and get around them. Overall these are pretty easy once you get the hang of the karts.

Jeff Gordon NASCAR School (Bronze)Complete the “Jeff Gordon NASCAR School” Special Event”.

– Like the Karting experience, you only get the choice of one vehicle in this one so that is pretty easy. The key to winning these is drafting behind other cars. Take your time because if you make contact or hit the wall you will be disqualified. You will need to reach level 21 to get access to all three events.

Top Gear Test Track (Bronze)Complete the “Top Gear Test Track Special Event.

– Again, they give you a vehicle so no choice is needed here. What will be difficult, though, is that you are going up against all similar vehicles so it will come down to your driving skill. Be sure to take your time and pay attention to the racing line as well as avoiding the other vehicles. You will need to reach level 19 to get access to all four events.

AMG Driving Academy (Bronze) Complete the “AMG Driving Academy” Special Event.

– This event is like the other four, where you will be given a car to use. You will strictly be racing on the Nurburgring track, which is made up of tight corners and a skinny track. These are all timed and running off the track will disqualify you, so take your time. You will need to reach level 24 to get access to all four events.

Gran Turismo Rally (Bronze) Complete the “Gran Turismo Rally” Special Event.

– This will be the first special event which you will be able to use your own car. There are three different series, and each will need a special set of tires to complete. The key is to be able to drift around corners and keep your speed up. Dirt and snow are pretty easy when you get the hang of it, but the tarmac can be rough. Keep practicing and you will be able to blow through this with little effort. You will need to reach level 20 to get access to all four events.

Grand Tour (Bronze)Complete the “Gran Tour” Special Event.

– Again you are given a different car for each track. There are only five race consisting of time attacks and two lap races. These can be rough at time, but again with some practice you can get really good at it. Unlocks at level 13.

Sébastien Loeb Rally Challenge (Bronze)Complete the “Sébastien Loeb Rally Challenge” Special Event.

– There are only three events in this rally challenge. These are a lot more difficult than the Gran Turismo Rally events, as the speed is increased. You are given a car to race these events so that will make it a little bit more easy. These are all time trials so you may need to run the courses a few times. Unlocks at level 16.

Red Bull X1 Challenge (Bronze)Complete the ‘Red Bull X1 Challenge’ Special Event.

– You will be racing an extremely fast car (the fastest in the world) for these time trials so there will be a lot of practice needed. This unlocks at level 30.

Gold Standard (Gold)Get a gold trophy in every race event, license test and special event.

– You need to get a gold trophy in every event above.

Finale (Silver)Reach the ending movie.

– When you complete Gran Turismo World Championship race, which is in the professional series, you will unlock the movie. You will need to be at level 14 to get access to this race. The movie will play once you get back to your GT life screen. You won’t need to finish every event up to this point just complete the Gran Turismo World Championship.

Grand Finale (Silver)Reach the long version of the ending movie.

– When you complete Dream Car Championship race, which is in the extreme series, you will unlock the movie. You will need to be at level 24 to use this race. The movie will play once you get back to your GT life screen.

Win Number One (Bronze) Win your first A-Spec event race.

– Nothing to explain here as this will happen without much effort.

Excellent Driver (Silver)Reach A-Spec Level 40.

– This will need a bit of play time. Each race will earn you experience depending on what place. The higher you finish the more points you will get. You can play races over again to gain more points. There isn’t a shortcut here just find a race that offers a lot of experience and keep playing it.

The Right Direction (Bronze) Win your first B-Spec event race.

– Again if you play B-Spec you will get this trophy without much effort.

Expert Manager (Silver) Reach B-Spec Level 40.

– Like “Excellent Driver” this will take some time. B-Spec races will have you manage a racing team. You will need to pick your drivers and tell them what to do, when to speed up, when to slow down. This will probably be the most boring trophy you will go for.
