Director of Pan’s Labyrinth and Hellboy and esteemed film-maker, Guillermo Del Toro, set his eyes on the game’s industry, hoping to innovate and expand the genre. At this year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards, Del Toro announced his first foray into the video game market, and he isn’t aiming low.
Guillermo Del Toro announced his rather scary looking game – Insane. Published by THQ, in conjunction with Volition, the “game of terror” is set to release 2013, so its a long wait for fans of Del Toro.
I hate trailers that show absolutely nothing about a game.
Anyone else chuckle at the 2013 release date?
yup, it was kinda a smack in the face. the reaction was “oh this is really cool looking… ohhhh… in 2 years. crap.”
Yeah man. totally insulted by him putting a lot of work into his first game ever……My reaction was “sweet I’ve wanted to hear about this…..Oh… 2013,well its not gonna be rushed, AND it’s already my most anticipated game of that year. Well played Del Toro….Well played.
I bet in two years it’ll look a hell of a lot cooler.
according to the Mayans, we’ll never see this game.
Any reason it uses the same front as infamous?
I don’t have a good shot of infamous’ font in my memory but this one looks a little more “messy” but i’m probably wrong. In that case though, my answer is the same reason sony used the same font as spiderman for the ps3.
why was “Tetsuo: The Iron Man” running through my head watching this?
