In what is quickly becoming the worst kept secret ever, Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play, known previously by its unofficial PlayStation Phone moniker, has been the subject of so many leaked photos, videos — it was even put up for sale on Ebay — that it’s becoming comedic. Even though Sony has yet to make any sort of comment on the existence of this phone, that still hasn’t stopped them from creating a commercial, and it subsequently being leaked onto the web, before any official reveal.
A commercial for the Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play has recently surfaced on Youtube. It doesn’t show it in action, or tell us everything it can do, but what it does do is solidify that once the phone is finally revealed, they are all ready to heavily promote the first PlayStation Certified device.
See commercial below:

As you can see from the commercial, it’s being touted as a PlayStation Certified device, something that Sony announced recently at the PlayStation Meeting event in Tokyo.
The Xperia Play is scheduled to be revealed at the upcoming World Mobile Congress, which runs from Feb. 14 – 17.
Nice commercial, I’m interested about the Xperia Play as well.
Sony better fix their digital distribution and fix PSN (offer ALL their latest releases) if they want to compete with Apple and their Store.
This happens waaaaaaay too many times to Sony for it to be considered “leaks” anymore.
^ Haha, so true!
