Become a Real Man with Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition

02/11/2011 Written by Mike Hartnett

Duke Nukem Forever, the one title that everyone thought, for sure, would never be released, is now not only all set for its May release, but is now roaring back with a limited edition bundle to boot!

This limited edition of Duke Nukem Forever, aptly named the Balls of Steel Edition, will be available exclusively through GameStop and Amazon, and will include a tremendous amount of extras. Actually, the amount of content contained therein essentially blows every other collector’s edition up to this point out of the water! Here’s what you’ll have to look forward to in the set:

  • Collectible bust of the greatest alien ass-kicker of all-time
  • Numbered, limited-edition certificate of authenticity
  • 100-page hardcover book: The History, Legacy & Legend: Duke Nukem Forever Art from the Vault
  • Duke Nukem Forever postcard series
  • Duke Nukem Forever radioactive emblem sticker
  • Duke Nukem Forever collectable comic book
  • Duke Nukem Forever foldable paper craft
  • Duke Nukem Forever poker chips
  • Duke Nukem Forever mini-card deck
  • Duke Nukem Forever radioactive emblem dice

This edition of the game will retail for $99.99, definitely a steal for what you’re actually getting, so be sure to snag em’ while they’re available, as 2K has assured us that supplies will be, just as the name implies, quite limited.

I honestly don’t know what to say here.

  2. I’ll be sure to pony up $100.00 on a game delayed a decade, without a demo or a review. Yup. That’s the kind of thing I like to do. :-(

Only thing I want is the 100 page book.

In the words of the world’s greatest demon ass-kicker.

    “Groovy”

As much as I like Duke, I dunno if I want to pay that much for a special edition. I did it with God of War 3 and I made sure it was the last time I would pay that much for a game. Besides, I have no idea how good the game especially without a demo.

You know what? Screw it, I’m getting it as soon as people say the demo is good.
