InFamous 2 Public Beta Coming April

Hot off the back of announcing user generated levels for inFamous 2, Sucker Punch has revealed plans for a public beta.

Now that inFamous 2 is a “Play.Create.Shock” title, the developer is looking to test out the user generated aspect of the game in a “limited” public beta. The beta will release in early April, with more info and sign up details set to be announced on March 14th, although we’d hazard a guess at PlayStation Plus and pre-order customers being involved.

    honestly, this changes everything! in the original inFamous, I would imagine I’m roaming the city destroying stuff for fun but the idea of creating your own missions adds more variety and depth to the experience in the sequel. Sucker Punch never ceases to amaze me. :)

    I just WOWed when saw the video. I was a bit dissapointed with inFamous cuz once u finished the game, even with enemy territories, there were few monsters.. And was kinda difficult to max powers if didnt do before. And if u finished all the missions.. well.. that was it.. With this ‘LBP style’ online gameplay, it makes the game technically endless! I was gonna be a day-1 buyer.. but this makes me want the game RIGHT NOW :P .. I hope to get a seat in the limited PB =)

    I’m going to try to make a sly cooper level with this, Stealth with only the Amp on. My brain is swimming with ideas. This is an ingenuous way for them to leave infamous, this way we can still play new infamous missions while waiting for the awesomeness of Sly 4.

    Awesome, I’m gonna play this offline until the main story is finished, then turn the mighty online mode on lol. This is awesome.

    AWESOME!, This game will rock the world, the 1st one was phenomenal, batter than I thought, Specially if you compare it with [PROTOTYPE] . Can’t wait for playing the BETA :( (

    Man they just LBPed but in a bad ass way. Prototype2 better bring it. But we all know there isn’t a comparison now. InFamous in trying to be on a Uncharted level. And I like that, I like it alot!!!
