Although a fan favorite, the Ghostbusters, franchise had never transitioned well to video game form. The newest iteration, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, looks to change that, by putting players in a top down isometric view, and placing the focus more on multiplayer. There’s no way of telling how well this new direction will go, but the latest trailer does make it look entertaining.
The latest multiplayer trailer shows off some action packed four player ghost busting, all set to the classic Roy Parker jr Ghostbusters theme. The trailer also contains what looks to be a boss fight.

No release date has been given yet, but are you looking forward to its release?
‘Bustin makes me feeel goood’
haha, it makes everyone feel good
I enjoyed the trailer
I will bust all those bad ghosts!
Meh… it’s going to be hard to play this after playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Not only that but I’m getting kinda sick of this style of gameplay after Lara Croft, Dead Nation, Zombie Apocalypse, Alien Breed 1-3… it’s wearing out its welcome too quickly.
Plus I saw a lot of stream-crossing in that video. Where’s Harold Ramis to hold things straight when you need him?
I’m kinda feeling the same way. In fact, I was feeling this way about zombies, when it was burn zombie burn, dead nation, and zombie apocalypse, and now even black ops has a version of one of these in it.
Some one in the back of the room pointed out that Ramis is no fun, and neither is crossing streams. I assumed this would be the case, could you imagine trying to play that and NOT cross those? More frustration than fun, I say.
Rule number one is no more
And it does look like a mess….
