Bioware Slowly Releasing Individual Screenshots For Arrival DLC

03/15/2011 Written by Joseph Peterson

While Bioware has yet to officially announce the “rumored” upcoming Arrival downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, it hasn’t stopped them from taking to their official Facebook page to release screenshots little by little. The Arrival DLC was leaked via an update that was given to the PlayStation 3 version of the game late last month.

Below is what Bioware had to say on their official Facebook page regarding the first screenshot that they released (emphasis added):

New Mass Effect 2 screenshots have Arrived. I’ll release a new one tomorrow if you share this one and help us get 750,000 impressions!

Then a couple hours ago they had this to say on the newest screenshot revealed:

Thanks to your support, we have Arrived at our goal! As a token of gratitude, I’m releasing another screenshot. Will there be another one Arriving tomorrow? That’s up to you. 750,000 impressions is the goal!

Here are the screenshots that were revealed, feel free to over-analyze them to come up with your own predictions of what will occur in the upcoming DLC.

Will you be picking up the DLC when it releases? Let us know in the comments below.

Am I the only one who played ME2 and thought, “what was supposed to be so special about this game?”. I mean it wasn’t a bad game or anything, but I honestly didn’t see even one thing really special about it…

    • Personally it is my favorite series of all time. But if you never fully experienced the first one then I can see where you are coming from. The first title had a much more RPG feel to it, atleast IMO. But the first also allowed for you to become attached to the characters. The storyline made you wonder what happened to characters. I absolutely love both the first and second titles, and am waiting anxiously for the third entry into the series.

I very much agree with you. While it was sad to see the larger RPG aspects cut from the second game, it was still a blast to play. I love ME to death and will be picking the DLC up. Can’t wait for #3!

Of course I will buy this DLC. I’m a big fan of Mass Effect 2 =]

  3. i play it on 360 but me2 is awsome , i love it alot. i guess you really have to play form the first game. i love it because you have a big part in modling the story of the game and it takes that story threw the whole series not just one game. on 360 the choices you make in the first one carry over from 2 into 3.
