Ever since Batman: Arkham City‘s announcement during the Video Game Awards Show in 2009, fans of the highly successful IP have been eager to see a glimpse of gameplay footage from the sequel. Rocksteady Studios has, prior to today, delivered countless trailers, teasers and screenshots of the forthcoming action-adventure title, but not any actual gameplay footage. However, that changes today as the first gameplay glimpse of Batman: Arkham City has been unveiled.
Following the announcement of Batman: Arkham City‘s worldwide release dates last week, developer Rocksteady has finally unveiled the first gameplay footage of the sequel, which can be viewed below – courtesy of IGN.
Batman: Arkham City is currently scheduled for a release on October 18th, 2011.
