The PlayStation Store will be receiving yet another PSOne Classic courtesy of Square Enix this Tuesday when the ever popular Legend of Mana releases. Originally released on the PlayStation back in 2000, Legend of Mana tells the story of a war-torn land and the player who is tasked with rebuilding not only the world but its mana too. Take control and navigate through more than 60 quests and new areas created by artifacts you find along the way.
Legend of Mana will be releasing for $5.99, a price that seems to be set as the norm for PSOne classics on the PlayStation Store. If you have not had a chance to play this game, you owe it to yourself to pick it up Tuesday and play one of the last true RPGs from Square.

This was a great game.
I love the re-release of the old Squeenix games via PSN since now i can sell or trade my disc copy at a nice price and rebuy them digitally for next to nothing.
Is this better than Secret of Mana?
The screenshot makes me think it’ll be a grand rpg like Golden Sun.
But I hope it’s better than squeak-a-den, that game is sooooooo boring.
I should add that it’s an action RPG, not turn-based like Golden Sun or Suikoden.
I love everything about the game except the stiff combat. I love action RPGs as much as anything, but the mana series suffers from some…odd combat that just feels unfinished to me. f
To me, this game is OK.

Thanks for the extra info dude! I checked out a youtube vid of the combat, your right it doesn’t look very appealing.
Can you recommend any good Ps1 rpg’s on the PsStore? I was hunting for a good one for a while, and ended up buying suidoken based on oddly high reviews of it, but the combat was ridiculously boring, and the plot was really thin with barely any direction, so I ended up sorta giving up. I do like RPG’s though, I loved pokemon when I was younger, Golden Sun was awesome too, and I LOVE final fantasy tactics, and Jeanne of Arc is awesome as well.
