Batman: Arkham City Will House a Massive Quantity of Characters

Batman: Arkham City has been one of the most exciting reveals in the past year, and with how much success Arkham Asylum accrued, rightfully so. It’s been stated to be bigger and more open-world friendly than its predecessor, which is a large task to fill for its development team at Rocksteady Studios, but that’s nothing compared to the latest bit of information revealed.

Dax Ginn from Rocksteady Studios told NewComAu that Batman: Arkham City will introduce five times as many characters as seen from its older brother. This comes as a huge surprise given Arkham Asylum‘s large fitting of over 25 characters, including Bane, Harley Quinn, and many more. But that’s okay, as the world of Batman has been known for its diverse cast of extremely interesting characters.

Ginn stated earlier in the year that Batman: Arkham City will be about as long (roughly eight hours) as the previous iteration, so if there are as many characters as described, we should expect some jam-packed action scenes.
