There are a total of 40 street crimes that can be accessed by pressing the “X” button as the case comes across your police scanner. You will only get these if you are driving a “police” car. These cases will become available at certain times of the day and will be unlocked as you progress further in the main story. Currently active street cases will be displayed on your map with a yellow icon that looks like a person running. The icon will turn white when the case is completed. There will also be red icons indicating available cases that have yet to be completed. You can check which cases are available to you be pressing “Start” and then using “L1″ and “R1″ to cycle through the cases. Here is a list of the street cases, listed by name and what time of the day they are available for each desk:
Traffic Desk Street Cases
Homicide Desk Street Cases
Vice Desk Street Cases
Arson Desk Street Cases
The City Of The Angels (Gold) - Reach 100% Game Complete.
For this trophy, you will need to complete all story cases and street crimes. You will also need to collect all vehicles, film reels, land marks and newspapers. Here is a breakdown of everything:
The Up And Up (Silver) - Complete a story case with a five star rating.
See Shamus To The Stars.
Shamus To The Stars (Gold) - Complete all story cases with a five star rating.
In order to get a five star rating you will need to find all of the clues and get all of the questions correct. There is some room for error but to play it safe I would get everything. You can also lose stars by causing too much damage so I suggest letting your partner drive when going for five stars.

Awesome guide. Very detailed, can’t missed a trophy with this guide.
Thank you.
Little late there, I already got the Platinum.
Good for you.
Sorry it took so long but things come up from time to time that can cause delays. I will try my best to avoid it in the future. Thanks for the comment and congrats on the platinum.
Oh no I am not actually criticizing how long it took, more that I find it funny I just finished it up right before this was posted
Wish I had something this through when I was working on it, but after the PSN game I just find myself rushing through so many games and syncing trophies left and right. Kind of wish I had slowed down and savored the games more instead
You should sign up for Rockstar Social Club. No Social Club member has gotten the Platinum yet.
Must…..resist….
Nice guide.
I just can’t find a few of the damn cars… They all start to look the same…
Jeff Belote is the lord of trophy hunters. Awesome guide!
