Dust 514 Announced to Be First PSN Exclusive Cross-Platform MMO

From the massively multiplayer online developers of EVE Online, CCP Games announced at the Sony 2011 E3 Press Conference the first PSN exclusive MMO to be cross compatible with the PC universe.

Dubbed Dust 514, the PS3 and PSN exclusive MMO brings Move support, NGP compatibility, and PlayStation Home integration all in one package. The official beta for the upcoming MMO is scheduled to take place by the end of 2011 and is set for a release in the spring of 2012.

    final fantasy xi was playable with ps2 , xbox 360 and pc.

  2. “Exclusive Cross-Platform,” lol. I know what you guys mean as far as CCP’s plans, but seriously PSLS headlines have been pretty weak recently.

    could be interesting indeed, yet i would really love more than just cross-platform gameplay, let say a single account & purchase but can play on either support at any time but not simultaneously … like with Portal 2 …. come on it can be done! & please, please do apply same for DCUO :P
