Journey to Get Limited Beta, Details Coming Soon

The developers over at thatgamecompany are busy on their latest title, Journey. Like their previous titles, Journey will be a very emotional game with a major emphasis on music. Journey will also be the first game from the company to feature online multiplayer. Naturally, thatgamecompany wants to test their title before its release, and gamers can help out.

thatgamecompany confirmed via their Twitter account that there will be a closed beta for Journey.

Rumors of a very limited, private Online Beta for Journey are… true! Check our Facebook page & the PlayStation Blog for details on Monday!

Since the beta is described as “very limited,” this could mean that only PS+ members will be eligible to apply, as was the case with Killzone 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. There is also a chance that not all PS+ members will get into the beta.

Stick with PlayStation LifeStyle and we will update you on Monday with all the details and, while you wait, be sure to read our E3 preview of the game.

We both know that purchasing all of their games doesn’t matter from what I have seen from the betas I have been in. But definitely good luck to all of us PS+ members. Would love to see this title even in Beta.
