Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds Move Patch Rejuvenates Series with Screenshots
It wasn’t long ago that Sony announced that the charming Hot Shots Golf (Everybody’s Golf in Europe and Minna no Golf in Japan) series would be introduced to motion controls for the first time in its 14-year history. Although a title is currently being developed for the Vita and will incorporate such controls, the title in question is the 2007/2008 release, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. Now we have the screenshots just in time for its release.

This rejuvenating patch is also going to include 3D support, another first for the series. Best of all, you only have to wait a few more days as it’ll be available on July 14th. Following its release, a PlayStation Move bundle which comes with Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds will also be on store shelves this September. Hot Shots Golf is alive and well.

That would be an awesome patch to put in. If this gets trophies I might buy this game.
I agree with you, a trophy patch would be great. However, I haven’t heard anything in that regard.
Why would you make a golf game? They are so stupid and pointless and dumb and not fun.
They may not be fun for you but for people who have gaming groups stuff like this is fun. for instance rockband, guitar hero, sports champions, tiger woods series, and now the hot shots golf series. These are intended for just that reason so just because you dont have fun with them doesnt make them pointless or not fun to others.
I am not always up for the relentless onslaught of enemies in a shooter or the intensity of racing. I like to play golf games just because you can set your own pace.
Because many people like them. I absolutely love watching and playing golf, and have always found the Hot Shots Golf games to be extremely entertaining.

It´s good to have the option to play with either a Dualshock or Move but how about some Move dedicated games AKA Move only games that can´t be played with a Dualsho? I think only around ten Move only games have been released since the launch of Move. Why release Move and not support it? Move compatible games aren´t the same.
How about adding Move´s motion tech and rumble to the navigation controller but most importantly Move´s motion tech? Fixing the prices of Move, navigation and Eye? some camera games and some camera features into games. If Eye can´t do it than it´s time to release an improved camera.
I don´t exactly like golf although I never gave it a chance, but I really like Hot Shots, their really fun. I was looking to pick this title up but it´s still $30 for a three year old game. Sony should also have PlayStation characters as the main characters in their games like LittleBigPlanet, Hot Shots Golf, ModNation Racers to name a few.
Making games that support both Move and Dualshock is just good business. This way they don’t alienate anyone, people that hate motion control can still play the games and it gives people that do like them the option to play with them. It’s great because personally I love MAG with Move but I hate Hustle Kings with it so I can still play it with the dualshock. Going both routes gives you more appeal to hardcore gamers and to developers, especially the debs on the fence like Levine was. He didn’t believe in the whole motion thing but after seeing Sony wasn’t forcing it on debs and he could still leave in the traditional controls it became more appealing to him.
Also Hot Shots Out of Bounds does have some classic Playstation characters. It has Sackboy, Kratos, & Toro (though he’s only really known in Japan but it was nice to include him in the US).
I agree that it´s good for games that can be played with both Dualshock and Move to be compatible with both. But it´s also good to have Move only games because they are games that can´t be played with a standard controller and can only be played with a motion controller. Also, because unless a game is built with dedication to both standard and motion controllers, either playing a game with a standard controller or motion controller is not going to be as good as it can be and that´s a fact.
You have to pay for extra to have those characters, they are not included in the game. What I meant was like Mario Kart, the Mario sports games, etc. for Sony published games to have all the characters be PS characters. Of course in ModNation Racers you could still create characters and of course you will have the ModNation characters, just like LBP, Hot Shots Golf and so on.
The best golf game ever made is going to get better!
It’s the oldest game i have in my collection and one i would never ever trade in, even for double the original retail price! It’s longevity WILL last the whole lifespan of the PS3 (unlike some other annual shovelware shite that doesn’t deserve to have it’s name mentioned). If trophies were introduced also, i would definitely play the whole game all over again quite happily.
