Amazon is holding yet another all-day, all video game Gold Box event featuring new discounts and deals every hour. There’s plenty of savings to be had, as long as you’re able to solve the riddles and are ready to keep checking back to save.
Kicking off the all-day event is Bethesda’s recently released Brink, which has been discounted to $19.99 all the way down from the original price of $59.99. And that’s only the beginning of an entire day of savings that Amazon has ready for gamers.
Amazon has the description of each item hidden in a riddle form until the deal actually goes live. But you’ve been able to figure them all out in the past, that way you’re ready to swoop and claim your deal as soon as it goes live to ensure it doesn’t sell out before you get your chance. Here’s the entire list and times:
Expired – Transformers: Dark of the Moon – $39.99
Expired – Sniper: Ghost Warrior LD – $27.99
Expired – Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II – $24.35
Expired – Nickelodeon Fun N Fit Bundle for Nintendo Wii – $29.99
Expired – Bulletstorm – $27.99
Expired - Tekken 6 Fight Stick – $34.99
Sold Out - Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon – $19.99
Also, don’t forget, but Crysis 2 is Amazon’s video game deal of the week, priced at $39.99. That deal will be around, but these others only last mere minutes.
Let us know what you think each item is going to be, and what deals you took advatnge of.
Nice find Sev. and so begins the guessing game….
Sniper: Ghost Warrior
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
?? Fit in Six??
?? Jazz Jackrabbit – developed by Epic Games, who appears to have no other similar games out… so… uhhh,,, Gears of War, or Bulletstorm, possibly?? This clue is a major stretch.
Arcade style fighting could be anything, but I’ll go with SSFIV or MK, or it might even be an arcade stick bundle.
Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon
I think you’re right about Bulletstorm. Might have to pick that up.
It’s pretty decent – got it on sale a while back, haven’t made it far but I do enjoy the unique weapons and arcade style tactics. I find I’m rarely worried about dying, but I’m always worried about chaining up crazy ass kills for more points – which you need in order to buy ammo, so if you don’t do it you’ll find yourself out of ammo, and purchasing that instead of the numerous upgrades. Definitely a different way to approach a shooter campaign.
Also, I was right about Sniper: Ghost Warrior, and it appears the PS3 version has bonus stuff – “Bonus features available in the PS3 version include: a complete collection of DLC released to date, new weapons, expanded difficulty levels and exclusive missions and modes.”
nothing there to interest me…I’ve either played them already or don’t want to go anywhere near them
