Resistance 3 Beta Unloads on August 4th, 23rd for Plus Members

Although we had a small blip where some lucky users were able to get into the Resistance 3 beta a little preemptively, for many with their vouchers from SOCOM 4 in-hand, they had to keep waiting. The wait will soon be over…

For those that pre-ordered SOCOM 4 and held onto their Resistance 3 beta vouchers, the beta will kick off on August 4th. PlayStation Plus members will also get access to the Resistance 3 beta on August 23rd.

The Resistance 3 beta will include two maps: Seaside of Gamorgan, Wales and a Trainyard in Bogota, Colombia. Out of the five multiplayer modes found in Resistance 3, the beta will feature two of them: Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction. The other inaccessible modes are Deathmatch, Breach, and Capture the Flag. The beta will be capped at level 20, so you won’t be able to access everything Resistance 3 multiplayer has to offer.

If you don’t have a voucher from SOCOM 4 or can’t wait until the 23rd as a Plus member, keep watching PlayStation LifeStyle as we’re working with Sony to give away a batch of codes that’ll give early access to the Resistance 3 beta.

    i got a code this morning from Insomniac. Only problem is, I haven’t been able to play a match, because they’re aren’t enough people online…yet.

    am i missing something here? arent the playstation + member supposed to get access to betas before anyone else? TOTAL BULLSHIT! i have to wait damn near a month to get in this.

    I got socom tha day it came out so i have had my code 4 a while, i was a heavy r2 player. I want to know will it b up at 12am 2night or later in the day
