.hack//The Movie has been announced today and is set to release next year in theaters and then on Blu-ray, with a nice little bonus.
A trailer for the movie can be seen below and does have a lot of wow factor in it, but still leaves some disappointment as it’s not a brand new PS3 game. But wait – Namco Bandai president Shin Unozawa said that the Blu-ray will include “a small game”, which will be playable on the PlayStation 3. He didn’t share any additional information about it, sadly.
This might not be what we all had hoped for, but the movie looks interesting from the trailer and a full PlayStation 3 could still be in the works.
