“Something Awesome” Teased for LittleBigPlanet

09/05/2011 Written by Sebastian Moss

LittleBigPlanet will always be remembered as the first game that really pushed easily created user-generated content on a console, spawning a host of Play. Create. Share. titles. While Media Molecule’s next full game won’t be in the LBP universe, it doesn’t mean that they won’t continue supporting their previous games, with the developer teasing “something awesome”.

Over on the LBP forums, the following image was posted:

Given the file name “sorrynohintsinthefilename” we have no idea what the awesome thing could be, although it might be related to the upcoming Move update. Luckily, some sleuths over at the LBP forums began to try and decipher the mystery.

If you look closely at the image, the name “Edwin Shuttlecock” can be seen, but if you can’t see it, don’t worry – user mooglestar enhanced the image:

“The Marvellous Conundrum of Edwin Shuttlecock” is also seen on a poster for Move stickers, so it is possible they are connected:

Adding to the mystery even more, another image was posted titled “Questionableimage”What does this all mean? We have no idea. It could be something big, it could be something minor, or simply hype surrounding the Move update. But either way, we’ll make sure to update you on what this exactly is.

Have you got any ideas about what this could be? Let us know in the comments below.

Since Move support was purported for LBP2 and it has yet to be released so when you see the Move items in some photos you would necessarily make the leap to MOVE DLC coming Soon!

  4. TSFRJ says:

It’s the Move DLC kit along with creator pack 2. The mystery square is just a sample picture of the new paint program that allows users to create their own stickers in game

  5. TSFRJ says:

and yes move dlc will have a complete story mode and mini games similar to existing game. it’s like a squeal to the story levels

  6. I has to do something with Move DLC pack cause I saw a little PSN logo on the first page. We might be able to change camera angle using the Playstation Move, making kinda like a FPP (First-Person Platformer/Puzzle. It will be awesome if they ever do it.
