Crysis Coming to the PSN This October

09/09/2011 Written by Anthony Severino

When the original Crysis released on PC back in 2007, the entire game industry was in awe of its graphical capabilities. Interest was high, enough for Crytek to bring the sequel to consoles as well as the PC. But any PS3 owners wanting to catch up on what happened in the first game, were shit out of luck (that or they’d have to play the PC version). Not anymore – the original Crysis is on its way to the PlayStation Network.

This October, a remastered version of Crysis will be available for $20 on the PSN. Not a bad price considering it’s a full game that sparked a major franchise and set the internet on fire with hype.

As for what is remastered, the video below only says the lighting, but hopefully the PS3 version is on par with the PC version. Check out the video below, but be warned, all footage shown is from the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Fantastic News, bad timing though… The onslaught of games this fall is just insane, give my damn checking account a rest already! It’s going to be a slim Christmas for the family!
