PS3 Version of Saints Row 3 Includes Saints Row 2 Download Code
Update: THQ have extended the offer to Europe as well.
Consumers were understandably outraged when it was revealed that the promised PS3-exclusive content for Saints Row: The Third was nowhere to be seen, with THQ not helping matters by refusing to comment on the matter. Luckily, it seems like the publisher and SCEA were just a bit slow with revealing what was planned, with Sony now revealing gamers will get Saints Row 2 absolutely free.
SCEA has announced that all players that purchase Saints Row: The Third on PlayStation 3 and redeem their online pass codes within the next 90 days (midnight February 13th, 2012) will receive a digital copy of Saints Row 2 for free (usually $19.99). The game will be available starting next week, but the offer sadly applies to the United States, Canada and Mexico only.
The timing of the announcement is rather odd, as many multiplatform owners may have preordered or bought another version already, but it is still a fantastic deal for PS3 owners in the Americas.

No problem man, but it’s not a download code in the box .From what I understand, as long as you redeem your online pass that only comes with new copies then you get it automatically starting next week and for the next 90 days. Fantastic deal IMO
Well the online pass is a code that lets you download it. I’m sad it’s not available here
Never beat the second game so glad to have it available for free.

Who shoved their shoe up your ass? I was just posting something I thought people would be interested in. I know this is a SR3 article, and I said it was off topic. I have as much right to post here as you do asshole.
Now, if they only added a trophy patch for second! The bullet memory stick from the deluxe version of SR2 is one of the most useful things ever put in a deluxe pack. I never have any trouble searching for that memory stick in a pile of memory sticks.
Oh and this sounds like a good deal. I might get it on Black Friday…
