Jak And Daxter HD Collection Coming to PS3 This February
It was one of those inevitable things, especially since most successful classic PS2 franchises are getting a HD (and 3D) paint job and being re-released as a collection. But now it’s confirmed and a release date has been set… we’re talking about the Jak and Daxter HD Collection.
This morning on the PlayStation.Blog, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells announced that the Jak and Daxter HD Collection will be releasing for the PlayStation 3 this February. The game will feature a full HD remastering, stereoscopic 3D support,as well as trophy support for each game in the trilogy. The collection includes: Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3.

I am playing ‘The SLY HD Trilogy’ at the moment & its well good:P Missed it in the PS2 days + missed J&D in the PS2 days so i will get this;)
A ‘TimeSplitters HD Collection’ next? ? ?

now this is what l’ve been waiting for. Jak and Daxter are the best
This will have to be a day 1 buy for me…the only one I ever got to play when I had my PS2 was Jak III and at the time the graphics were the best thing I had ever seen and the comedic duo of Jak and Daxter were probably the most memorable characters for me from the PS2 days. I didn’t really get into Ratchet and Clank until I had my PS3 and they are awesome but I miss J&D. There is no game I have wanted more this generation than a new Jak & Daxter and Naughty Dog just keeps saying no. I love Uncharted, but I would gladly wait 4+ years for Uncharted 4 if it meant having a new J&D adventure before this console generation is over.
I played the first two J&D games, but never got very far, the series didn’t grab me. But I’m definitely willing to give the trilogy another shot! Now all I want is a Ratchet and Clank collection (at least the first three, but I would love Deadlocked as well), a Kingdom Hearts collection (KH1, KH:CoM, KH2), and maybe a Final Fantasy collection (FF10, FF10-2, FF12) and I will be happy.
I hope they give out a little teaser for Jak 4 just like Sly Cooper HD trilogy
YESS!!! THANK YOU NAUGHTY DOG!!! …Jak series is a highlight of my younger days!! Now I wait for ratchet and clank! I still have my original ps2 copies of these games!
I have no problem about the exclusion of Jak X Combat Racing… is that game evn part of the Canon? However, I was kinda expecting some of the PSP titles to make the leap for console, but I’m content without them! As long as the core series is there!

i only played jak 2 so i cant wait for this collection. But with all the games i’m gona buy this week, they will keep me busy until next Black Friday.
