Yes the memory stick is overpriced, the rest looks fine to me. Honestly it could all cost double and I’d still get it xD

  2. jamkor says:

how long until someone figures out what makes the vita memcard different form a standard memcard and allows you to modify a standard card for use in the vita? I bet it won’t take long.

  3. It’s all in the name of business. They sell hardware at a loss, so they have every right to charge a little extra for accessories. Most people won’t even need the memory cards since every PS Vita game has space for game saves. I’ll probably buy the 32 GB card. It’s way cheaper than what Apple charges for memory.

  4. Nymo says:

The 32 GB is quite out of my price range, so I’m definitely looking to the smaller sizes.

As for the other accessories, they seem pretty standard & priced pretty standard for accessories, which is good. Most are around that $20 range, so I’m fine with that.

The “Portable Charger” caught my interest. The idea alone seems worthy for any Vita owner, especially when it says it “carries 1.5 times the battery life of the PS Vita internal battery” and that you get “Approx 4-7 hours of extra Gaming.”
For just $50 for that little thing to add even more hours to my Vita, I’d definitely consider, but then I read “Maintains charge for up to 1 year.” That kinda bothers me: Does that mean that, after regular use, I’ll find that I’ll have to buy another portable charger a year later?

Anyways, can’t wait to see how some of those other accessories look like, especially the “Trigger Grip” accessory. Is it going to add triggers to the shoulder buttons? Guess we’ll find out soon…

yes, I am upset, these are obviously overpriced which I shouldn’t be surprised since this is Gamestop. All prices here will be somewhat cheaper on Amazon

  6. EcHo says:

Funny how the US prices are actually higher than the Japanese pricing…

@John, these prices aren’t reflecting a loss on what it’s going to cost Sony BULK, they are actually milking the consumer here…

  7. Blkant says:

    Wow… Thats bs…

I was already disinterested in it but now I really couldn’t care less about the vita.

  8. the only thing im dissipointed in is only 32gb ? i’d pay 149$ for a 64gb card. since im only doing digital downloads for vita.

  9. Memory cards pricey are terrible. Why can’t they do something nice for their clients and use the pro duo on the psp

  10. christian says:

im super disapionted in the 32gb and will not purchase it in particular

im looking forward to the costum crystal case, headset, and carrying case

BUT what’s up with the ps vita starter kit being 24.99 and the playstation vita starter kit being 29.99 they’re the same thing aren’t they and why is the seperate items of that starter kit equal the value of the starter kit itself. It just does not make any sense what so ever.
