Spike VGAs to Debut PS3 Exclusive “You Won’t Believe”
Each year at the annual Spike TV Video Game Awards, the show acts as a grand stage for a number of high-profile video game reveals. Just last year alone saw the announcement of some heavy hitters like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. This year, Spike TV is teasing a “PS3 exclusive you won’t believe”.
According to this picture of a Times Square advertisement, taken by a NeoGAF forum member, the text reveals some teasers for what to expect at this year’s VGAs. There will be a total of 13 world premiers, including “Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Bioshock Infinte, a PS3 exclusive you won’t believe, plus a special tribute to The Legend of Zelda“.
What the exclusive might be is really up in the air. It could be this “Sony Smash Bros.” game that’s been generating some buzz lately.

PS3 exclusives I wouldn’t believe… a new Naughty Dog-developed “Jak & Daxter”, a sequel to “Heavenly Sword” or a RPG, possibly “Dark Cloud 3″. Probable reveal: either the rumoured “Title Fight” or “God of War IV”. Either way, I can’t wait to see the reveal… and I can’t wait to see more “Metal Gear Solid Rising” (which I still think would make more sense as “Metal Gear Raiden Rising”).
A new Jak & Daxter is a good bet considering they’re releasing the HD Remasters in February and maybe they’re doing that so people can get caught up with the story before they release a new one, that’d be cool.
i highly doubt it would be made by naughty dog , they even came out and said they have no plans on making a new jax game , but if there was a new jax game it would be made by some one else. maybe whoever is doing the jax hd trillogy will be making a new jax game? but i doubt this is there announcment.
Considering it’s a PS3 exclusive I will guess that it’s something Sony Santa Monica (makers of God of War) is producing. If it’s for release in the Fall they would have had over two years of development time since God of War 3 and since they can do amazing work I would bet they can produce something unbelievable. I actually hope it’s not God of War 4 though. It would be great if a new IP is started that blows everyone away. Of course I would buy God of War 4 though if they truly go that route.
My money’s on that Playstation Smash Bros. VGA’s are a great way to give a game public exposure, rather than announcing a game at E3 or Gamescon where only us internet losers will hear about it, and that Playstation Smash Bros is gonna want to entice as much of the casual public as possible due to the type of game it is.

Something i wouldnt believe would be like gears of war or left for dead but i also doubt microsoft would let one of their icons be “exclusive” to PS3
Agent? new God of War? the Sony fighter thing? whatever it is, I hope I’ll give a damn and see it released at least before March 2013…
This better be something huge because every time you hear this it turns out to be nothing as expected, maybe this time will be different : )
I was thinking the same thing, it’s always some exclusive title that has been a running series on PS. I tend to take these exclusives you wont believe with a grain of salt. Oh well I’m sure it will be good just predictable.
I would love God of War 4 or Jak 4. But my dream would come true if Sony finally remake Legend of the Dragoon or announce a sequel.

Sony Smash Bros? New IP from Guerrilla? Agent? FF Versus?
pretty sure they showed off ff vs , ussally debut means something unannounced and shown for the first time , so that would count agent out as well.
Title Fight is the rumored game so far which consist of all the Sony characters into one mash up FIGHT! I’m praying this is true IGN has already made their dream roster

I can honestly say I’m not going to get worked up over that. Things get a bit overhyped nowadays only to come out and warrant nothing more than a normal reaction.
