Capcom Teases a “New Adventure” for Dead Rising’s Frank West
Frank West was the photographer who found himself in the middle of a nightmarish zombie apocalypse that grew out of control in the original Dead Rising. After a different character named Chuck took over in the sequel, Frank made a comeback in a special new version of that game called Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. A new post on Facebook by Capcom teases that Frank may be getting ready to see some more action, but in what capacity is unclear.
On the official Dead Rising Facebook page, the following post was written:
I’m getting packing for my new adventure – camera, notebook and baseball bat. What else would i need for a break in paradise? – Frank
Now, a “new adventure” could mean any number of things. As much as Dead Rising fans would love for the update to mean that a third main console installment of the series was coming, “a new adventure” could refer to projects such as DLC, an iOS game, or something else entirely.

It could even be Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Again! Did you like it when Capcom screwed over your wallet the first two times? Well third times the charm! I gotta list of demands that I feel need to be met if I’m EVER going to even consider buying another Dead Rising
1) The map is made big enough to warrent the £40 mark. Take a look at skyrim, now back at dead rising, now skyrim again. You may notice that dead rising isn’t skyrim. I’m not saying make the map as big as Skyrim’s but as free roam maps go it’s weak
2) NO DLC! NO, NO, NO, NO (the full version would go on till the death of the universe itself) DLC. Capcom either makes it 360 exclusives or overprices it or just does not get the concept of DLC
3) No Director Cut. In fact this extends to all future capcom projects whether they make them or someone else makes them.
4) Capcom, Microsoft or Sony are to be forbidden from making backhand deals with each other
before anyone starts with the wow your rude comments, I don’t actually think anyone from Capcom will take this seriously or even be here to read this but I am getting quite tired of the Dead Rising series. It’s a good game but it’s insane what’s happened to the 2nd game with the exclusive DLC and the director’s cut. It’s a great game but I think compared to other free roam games you don’t get a lot for your money.
Crapcom really needs to reevaluate their business plan. I agree with you. This is beyond ridicouls. These games were never good to begin with and they won’t stop releasing releases and new versions of this crap.
They sure have gone down the drain this gen.

Dear god if you were anymore epic with that post the site would have broken! (No sarcasim)
LOL!
Either give us the whole goddamn game with the first time we pay, a super cheap mini stand alone game like inFamous FoB, or do what Kojima is doing with their PSV game, give a small part of it for free, and charge SLIGHT and REASONABLE amounts for the rest of the content.
But then again I don’t own any Capcom games so I doubt I’ll start now.
