I like the price adjustments to the memory cards although the 32GB seems high still. Maybe a used one will show up cheaper along ways after it’s release

I’m assuming you never owned a PSP at Launch, the largest stick available was 1GB and it was unheard of the even think you could afford it at $120+

I’ve already bought an 8GB card, and don’t expect you’ll need anything larger for a year or 2 (unless you plan on owning 4+ downloaded full games in the first year. expect a drastic drop in price as Vita sells and 3rd parties are able to make their own cards.

    • Look at this line from PSLS:
“We’re glad to see that the memory cards have come down in price”
Wow and since when did Sony officially held the price up beyond these official announcement?
PSLS do you really believe he place holder prices rumors that circled around the net?
PSLS where do you pull out your information from?
I have been to many gaming sites that does not even have the name ‘PlayStation’ on them yet give credible information about the PlayStation products and life style unlike you guys.
This site has blended in among the norm. I don’t see anything special that sets this site apart from the usual.
Good luck with the direction you are heading to PSLS. that is if you guys can still stay relevant and credible,
Goodbye PSLS it was nice knowing you and learning from my experience that made me a wiser gamer, hypersackboy…out.

I doubt anyone would need 32GB cards right out the gate…So 8GB/16GB should suffice for a long while until the prices come down. The lineup seems pretty solid, especially since Sony managed to include major franchises for launch day like Uncharted and FIFA (on the third-party side).

  3. themule says:

I think the portable charger is a must for people who will play it frequently on the go.

  4. 99$ seems fair enough imo, if they did have a 64gb card for 120$ though i’d radther go for that. did they show any pricing systems for the 3g system? from what i’ve seen you pay for the month? or can you pay say x amount of money for the year ? if it was like 150$ for the year i’d just pony up and just pay for it that way.

  5. So. Many. Games. I dread the launch day for the money that i’m gonna be spending that day :(

Can’t wait to play Rayman Origins again on it. I hope it has a seperate trophy list from the PS3 version since I already platniumed it.

  6. oversun says:

I’m going to wait until next summer break, after some firmware updates and hopefully after Disgaea 3 comes out.

  7. tex360 says:

I’m waiting until November next year to get the Vita. The many titles available at launch is unbelievable, and the memory card prices are acceptable at least.
