“12 in ’12″ PSN Store Deals Partially Revealed

01/13/2012 Written by Tony Wibowo

A few weeks ago, the PlayStation.Blog announced that starting on January 17 the PSN will hold a special sale for 12 selected games. So far, Sony has not mentioned the games that will participate in the program, other than describing them as some of the best PSN contents from 2011. However, with the release of the latest episode of the official PlayStation Blogcast, we now know half of those twelve games.

12 minutes into the podcast PlayStation Sr. Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman revealed six of the PSN games that will be on sale starting on January 17:

  • Okabu
  • Rocket Birds
  • Payday: The Heist
  • Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection
  • Rochard
  • Eufloria

The games will be 30% off for all PSN members and 50% for PSN Plus members. The sale will last one week only. The blog promises to reveal the rest of the list early next week before the store updates.

Are you getting anything from the list so far?

I might pick up Eufloria. Nice simple Dune 2 clone with a great atmosphere.

The only one I might pick up is Eufloria, but having just played the demo I didn’t really enjoy it. It’ll have to be stupid cheap for me to consider it now.

probably Rocketbirds, I already own MK Arcade Kollection and Rochard.
