The PlayStation Vita still isn’t available for purchase outside of Asia, but that hasn’t stopped Sony from updating their marketplace. If you spend a few minutes digging around on the PlayStation Store, you’ll be able to find five PlayStation Vita games available for download.
The downloadable titles include:
It may sound a bit nonsensical to purchase the games now, but with the Vita only a few weeks away and the ability to transfer your games over via the Content Manager, you’ll be ready to go as soon as you come home from the store. Believe me, the last thing you’ll want to do when you get your shiny new toy is wait for a bunch of games to download on your device.
Look for the PlayStation Vita and its incredible launch lineup of games on February 15th as a First Edition bundle and on the 22nd for the official launch.

…but Wipeout is $30 via Amazon. as a physical copy (which should be more expensive)
I’m impressed by Vita and I like it but the game prices are way overpriced. And so are 3DS games BTW.
Why is Uncharted: Golden Abyss $49.99 when the other games on the list are around $10-35 dollars?
? Uncharted on vita was always 50$ this is nothing new. It’s pretty much a full console game on a portable.
Uncharted Golden Abyss is a console quality experience, hence Sony’s high price tag. A very similar approach was applied to Resident Evil Revalations but Capcom wised up and kept the price at $39.
Sony will not change the price for Golden Abyss because of the cost for the game to be developed; high production values and HD graphics. If you don’t want to pay $50 for the game when it arrives in retail, wait a few months and used copies will be available, along with retail stores offering giftcards with the purchase of a New copy (always nice).
It was Nintendo that adjusted the price on RE Revelations from $50 to $40.
I will buy Super Stardust which is gonna be sweet
Wipeout and Hot Shots Golf are both $29.99 on Amazon with free shipping. Only reason to purchase them on the PS Store would be if you enjoy being ripped off.
are they digital downloads though? i am only doing digital downloads for vita so it deosn’t really matter to me.
Could have sworn i read somewhere how sony would charge less for digital copies of psv games? Where was that…. oh i remember. Everywhere! Including here. Guess thats out the window now. Guess i will be needing a new disc cabnit after all. Le Sigh.
Yup, digitial copies of Vita games that are released on a physical format should defiently be priced at a worthwhile discount.
