Resistance: Burning Skies Release Date Revealed
Depending on where you live, and what you preordered, you’ll be able to get your hands on a PlayStation Vita in either just over a day, or just over a week. But what will you do once you’ve played Uncharted, WipEout and ModNation? Luckily Sony has a bunch of Vita games coming soon, including Resistance: Burning Skies.
Burning Skies releases on May 29th in the US, and the 30th in Europe, with Sony claiming that the game is “the world’s first portable dual-analog FPS”. In the game you control firefighter-turned-alien-masher Tom Riley as he fights the Chimeran invasion of the US East Coast in August 1951.

Sadly, this could very well be the last Resistance game, now that franchise-founder Insomniac Games has left the series. If it is the final Resistance, let’s just hope the game goes out with a bang.

I don’t think this will be the last Resistance though…Sony owns the franchise and I think they will want to see it continue. R3 was a great game, I really think they need to make it a Greatest Hits already and follow suit with a large marketing campaign so more people play it and start clamoring for another new Resistance game, obviously by a new developer.
Nice box art:P + i am playing R3 at the moment & its well good:P + I wish R3 had 4 player split-screen with Bots because it has some mega-cool weapons in the game & they would ‘ROCK!’ in 4 player mode with friends on one TV. This Gen is SH*T for the lack of 4 player off-line FPS with Bots :-/
