Cross Game Chat is dead. Long live the DualShock & Awe podcast! To celebrate the new podcast, we are giving away a $20 PSN card!
All you have to do is call 331-222-7757 and leave a voicemail where you sing to us! A new podcast also deserves an awesome feature that is capable of transfaring, so in this premier of a podcast, Josh, Cameron, Eric, and PMC give their hands on impressions of the Vita. It turns out the Vita really is as awesome as everyone thought it would be, and there are some definite must have games that the guys really enjoy. The device itself makes the PSP look like an ugly stepchild…..from uglyville. With that being said, the device isn’t perfect and there is some room for improvement (although not much). Listen in to find out what Sony’s next step with the handheld should be.
From now on, you can email us at podcast@playstationlifestyle.net with any questions, ideas or spam for the podcast, and be sure to let us know what you think of the new format in the comments below!
I’ve only listened to the first few minutes and you had me laughing quite a bit! I’ll debate about making a song for you guys. I just can’t see myself writing about it.
/sad face
good to hear! we definitely had some more fun with the podcast! and you should definitely sing to us….maybe we’ll feature it on the next episode
great first episode guys.
ARRRRR!
im pretty upset with myself that i forgot to say ARRRRRR at the end of my voicemail…damnit
YARRR should be!!!
So glad ARRR has become the new matte.
A new podcast episode!
I’m skeptical about the new name, but I’ll get used to it. Dual Shock ‘n Awe.
Sucks you guys couldn’t give me a Vita but hey I understand
. I’m still not totally sold on it but I’ll probably swing by Gamestop or Best Buy and try it out like you guys said and that might sway me. Great podcast though.
I’m loving this new style for the podcast. Keep it up guys (the podcast lol)
Hey guys, I literally joined the site like 5 mins ago and I enjoyed the podcast. I’m basically shitting bricks till the 22nd and hearing your opinions on it were awesome and making me want to curl up into the fetal position till it comes out.
I was wondering tho, Hehe ya I want you to do something for me….
On your next podcast can you do a shout out for me I’m trying to get as many friends on my PSN as possible preparing for the Vita launch cause I only got like 10 at the moment lol.
My PSN is Jacobian360
And honestly I get if you don’t want too but I’m assuming you guys are “Boss” enough to handle the challenge, even tho it’s not much of one ha. If not tho who cares we’ll all be playing Vitas next week anyways. Peace! Also how often will this PC be out?
Assuming they’re still running it the way they did the old one – podcast will be out once a week.
Also, great way to get PSN friends – hit up the forums!
The podcast will actually be every two weeks.
I’ll remember to give you a shout out and I’d be happy to add you on my friends list.
EricFerreira ismy psn. See you online.
I just called and sung a “cross chat-death” song in a “I said don’t worry” Bob Marley theme lol
and its awesome!
PSN Freestylinyoshi
Alrighty then. I just put in my “Fever”. I hope you guys could hear it alright. I forgot to test my volumes before hand. Anyway thanks for the contests

great to see so many people sending in their voicemails.. if we get enough support with these kinds of things, I could def. see us doing more contests
New to the site and just listened to the podcast. I enjoyed it and can’t wait for more.
Guys, I really enjoyed the show. I didn’t fall asleep even once.
It may have been the subject matter though. PS Vita launch and all the discussions about the PSV had me listening intensely like a kid on Christmas Eve listening for Santa’s reindeer touching down on his roof.
I will say that I enjoyed it and that the chemistry between all of you has grown exponentially. It’s great to hear/feel the comradery.
I am missing the intro/outra music. The intro I wasn’t bothered as much by because of all the excitement from everyone, but the outro fell flat even with all the goodbyes. Bring back the outro music!
Looking forward to the next cast!
