Major electronics retailer Best Buy has joined Amazon.com and other major retailers in offering a Buy 2, Get 1 Free deal on select PlayStation Vita titles.
BestBuy.com’s Buy 2, Get 1 Free games list currently consists of 20 PlayStation Vita games, including games that haven’t been released yet, including Dragon’s Crown, MLB 12: The Show, and LittleBigPlanet. The lowest-priced title of the three titles purchased will be the one that consumers receive for free.
The games currently available for the promotion are:
Best Buy’s site doesn’t say when this promotion will expire, so PS Vita owners should take advantage of it while they still can.

The bottom line on the site’s page leads me to think this won’t work for Little Big Planet or MLB.
“Buy Two PlayStation Vita Games, Get a Third Free
Choose three games from the list below and get the lowest priced game for free.
Items may ship separately. See offer details.
Excludes pre-orders..”
It worked for me with show 12
No pre-orders and when you click into details it states no prior purchases as well. I pre-ordered Uncharted from Best Buy. Picked it up on First Edition launch day 02-15-2012. Out of curiosity I opened it. I then saw the deals on Amazon, GameStop and even Target and thought damn, why couldn’t Best Buy do it as well? And they decide to do it on launch day. Way to go! Best Buy playing catch up will cause me to lose out on this deal. I’m going to try anyway. Wish me luck.
pre-orders absolutely work, which is awesome because they are almost always excluded, as I just ordered MLB 12, LBP and Ridge Racer…I figured this was a way I could justify getting Ridge Racer without worrying about the lack of content…I just did the Target deal and there really aren’t any games left that I want until we start to see Unit 13, Resistance, and other future titles. So far I have barely spent anything out of pocket as I traded in my PSPgo and enough PS3 games to cover almost everything.
