Guerrilla Games Co-Founder Jumps Ship to Join Visceral Games

Arjan Brussee, the co-founder of PlayStation developer Guerrilla Games is officially leaving the team to go work as an executive producer at Visceral Games.

He informed the Guerrilla staff of his departure via email, which Control-Online managed to get a copy of. In the goodbye letter, Brussee spoke well of his time at GG, calling it a “great ride.”

Here’s an excerpt from his message:

Every year there was something ambitious, new and inspiring to put my energy into. For me, I now want to find a new personal challenge, which I hope to find at EA HQ near SF, CA and who knows where this will take me next.

It will be interesting to see what kinds of new and exciting things he will come up with over at Visceral Games, and what the departure means for GG’s new IP. While he is primarily known for his work on the Killzone franchise, back in the day he also worked on Jazz Jackrabbit over at Epic.
