You may not be familiar with the Metro franchise, since Metro 2033 was only on the 360 and PC, but that’s no reason to overlook the successful game’s sequel, Metro: Last Light, which will come to PS3 as a multiplatform release. Now that we’ve seen the game up close and personal, we’re convinced that it’s going to be worth a look.

Asura’s Wrath was the best game of Capcom’s booth at E3, and that’s meaningful since it had some stiff competition. CyberConnect2 has managed to take the best elements of gaming, anime, and pop-culture, mixed in some fresh ideas of their own, dashed it with style and have thus created an adrenaline filled world of epic proportions. E3 may be over, but footage from the show floor is still trickling out. Earlier, we posted footage of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations gameplay from E3. Now we have a cuddly gameplay demo for the PlayStation Vita.
The Walking Dead is most well known for both the comic book series and the currently running television show on AMC. Both of these follow the journey of Rick Grimes in a zombie infested world after an outbreak has occurred. Sounds perfect for a videogame right? Well Telltale Games is developing such a game, and while they couldn’t tell us everything, here is what we learned at this year’s E3.
It feels like every game out there is trying to add some kind of multiplayer experience to their product in an attempt to enhance value, and the next developer to jump on the multiplayer bandwagon might be BioWare with Mass Effect 3. According to a Eurogamer report, ME3 will feature a four-player co-op component when it releases next year.
Tying gameplay to guitar riffs made me an instant fan of Everyday Shooter and its creator, Jonathan Mak. But that was back in October of 2007 when Everyday Shooter released on the PlayStation Network. Since then, I’ve longed for more of the visual style and music-infused gameplay that Queasy Games brought to the game. So I couldn’t have possibly been happier when I came across Sound Shapes for the PS Vita during my press-only tour of Sony’s E3 booth.
Anarchy Reigns is the new action brawler from Platinum Games, creators of such high-action games as Bayonetta and Vanquish. With such fast paced games already on their résumé we can already tell that Anarchy Reigns will be a huge adrenaline rush, and our E3 preview reveals a number of other details too.
The original Smackdown! came out in 2000, and eventually evolved into the Smackdown vs. Raw brand. These games were the answer to most wrestling fans that wanted a wrestling experience on their consoles. Fast forward 12 years and we have the first title from the series that doesn’t call itself Smackdown or Smackdown vs. Raw. THQ and Yuke’s seem that they are trying to breathe new life into the franchise by rebranding it WWE 12.
We were wracking our brains trying to come up with a clever way to introduce E3′s best booth babes. But the truth is, after seeing these pics, we can’t even think straight, and we’re pretty sure that after you see them for yourself, you’ll forget anything we said anyway. So, here goes: E3. Booths. I found Natsume and their PlayStation 3 RPG; Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny tucked away in a small booth in the south hall of E3. The latest Rune Factory game, Tides of Destiny was not only enjoyable, but also surprisingly diverse, with there seeming to be plenty of things to keep gamers busy later this year.
Back in 2006, Human Head Studios and 2K Games released the first Prey title. The game had been in development for quite some time, and many people were waiting anxiously for the title. It was announced earlier this year that there will be a sequel, and this time around the game will once again be developed by Human Head Studios, but published by Bethesda Softworks.
Kids love party games, especially when they have motion controls like the PlayStation Move, which is precisely why the upcoming Carnival Island is on the right track by combining these two things.
