
After revealing his latest twisted title several weeks ago, Suda51 of Grasshopper Manufacture has released a fresh batch of screenshots for the upcoming Lollipop Chainsaw. Pitting a high school cheerleader against an onslaught of zombies is incredibly unique, though incredibly weird as well. But hey, that’s Suda for you.

Sega’s newest third-person shooter is aiming to wreak havoc amid the hapless streets in Tokyo. But before they start to shred android metal with full metal jackets in Binary Domain, they plan to warm their fans up with a few gameplay screens straight from gamescom.

Sly and the gang are at it again in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, the fourth installment in the Sly Cooper franchise. In an effort to build hype for the game’s release next year, Sony has unveiled a handful of screens that look absolutely gorgeous.

The gamescom media train is making its rounds and the latest game to step off the train is Gravity Rush, formerly known as Gravity Daze, which has received a trailer and screenshots for the event. The game was originally shown off at E3 and is being developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan for the PlayStation Vita.

Silent Hill: Book of Memories has received the gamescom treatment with a new trailer and screenshots for the PlayStation Vita title. Book of Memories is a top-down co-op game in development by WayForward, who is currently working on BloodRayne: Betrayal.

Bethesda has recently revealed several new screenshots of Arkane Studio’s upcoming first-person stealth action title Dishonored. Judging by the screens, close quarters combat will play an important role in the title’s gameplay mechanics.

Activision has recently released a brand-new trailer highlighting one of the new modes coming to GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. The mode is titled MI6 Ops and features areas from the single player campaign providing players with a myriad of tasks to complete including Elimination, Assault, Stealth and Defense objectives.

Sony Online Entertainment has used gamescom to announce release dates for three of their upcoming PlayStation Network games. PAYDAY: The Heist, Sideway: New York and Rochard will all be releasing early this fall for download and offer a wide variety of gameplay from Robert DeNiro type robberies to adventures with graffiti. The old adage states, the bigger the better. Developer Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed Uncharted series is returning to PlayStation 3 with Drake’s Deception this fall in extra large fashion. Naughty Dog community manager Arne Meyer has shared some details about what it is like to be a PS3 exclusive developer, as well as the fact that Uncharted 3 is currently too big.

Sega has released all new media for Sonic Generations at gamescom today, giving us a look at two new stages. These stages are “Rooftop Run,” previously from Sonic Unleashed, and “Seaside Hill,” from Sonic Heroes. Both levels can be played in both Classic and Modern Sonic.

With From Software’s Dark Souls only a couple of months away, those eager to experience the punishing difficulty rarely seen in other modern games won’t have long to wait. In an effort to tide fans over until the game’s launch, the team has released a number of screenshots alongside a pretty awesome trailer at this year’s gamescom.
