So far, the PlayStation Certified program hasn’t been that impressive, only offering a few PlayStation One titles with added touch controls. But the program looks to be taking the next logical step and adding more recent PSP games.

Though the PlayStation Network may be having some major technical issues, that hasn’t stopped Sony from going forward with a recent press event over in Japan. They’ve revealed numerous details about their upcoming tablets, and they will be PlayStation Certified.

While Sony Ericsson has announced the Xperia Play, the first PS Certified phone, Sony and SE have both been rather quiet about any plans for a certified Android tablet. If you were hoping to play portable Syphon Filter on a larger screen, don’t worry, NVIDIA have announced that “the world’s first mobile super chip” will soon support PS Suite.
