In a not surprising move, EA has announced that the second sequel to The Sims, the Sims 3, would be arriving on consoles. The original Sims title released for consoles, as did it’s sequel, The Sims 2.

The list of PSOne classics on the PlayStation Network is growing weekly and has shown Sony that consumers are willing to buy older games for cheaper prices on the PlayStation Store. Right now it is only PS1 games in the store, but Sony may be looking into bringing classic PS2 games to the table soon.

Yet another slow week for PlayStation releases but in an unusual turn of events, this is a good thing for all of the role-playing gamers out there. Square Enix has recently let slip that before Final Fantasy XIII was announced for the PS3 and later for the 360, it was first a PS2 game. The game was going to be made for the hardware that Square Enix knew the best, but then the PS3 came along and they decided to move it to the PS3. Scans are starting to surface of the early PS2 build and show off the varying art styles that were considered. Two characters in the screens should look familiar as both Yuna and Rikku make an appearance.

There is no doubt that Team Ico has released some of the most underrated titles on the PlayStation 2. Not many know about both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Though Shadow of the Colossus did reach “Greatest Hits” status through the sales that it achieved, it is still rather hard to find at times.
Sony Japan has confirmed that there will be a reprint of the title Shadow of the Colossus. This will make it easier for gamers to get their hands on one of the greatest titles of all time. This was discovered through a list that Sony Computer Entertainment Japan sent out containing many PlayStation the Best titles. One of those included was none other than Shadow of the Colossus. It will retail for around 1,800 yen, which is around $20 total. As of right now this is Japan only.

MLB The Show series has become a staple of baseball gaming for PS3 and PSP owners with its amazing visuals and stunning true to life gameplay. Due out on store shelves this March, MLB10 The Show looks to improve on an already amazing game.
