Rock of Ages is a one of a kind combination of racing and tower defense encased within a bizarre and humorous alternate historical take on the world. The result is something that is both absurd and original. In Rock of Ages players take control of a boulder in order to smash down an opponent’s castle gates. Once broken down, [...]Vivas Kaul wrote a new blog post: PSN Review – The Walking Dead: Episode 1 – A New Day 3 weeks ago · View
Telltale Games has had some stunning game successes including the multi-season Sam and Max series and the very well adapted Back to the Future season. But fresh in everyone’s minds is the flop that was Jurassic Park . However, JP seems to have given Telltale an adequate enough testing ground to refine some of their bigger ideas for the point-and-click [...]Vivas Kaul commented on the blog post Wishful Thinking: Who Are the Usual Suspects of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale? 3 weeks, 3 days ago · View
Thanks man! Good of you to stop by!

Some good ideas here! Though Robbit (i think that was its name) from Jumping Flash seems like a bit of a stretch considering that all he can do is jump and shoot. Logan also seems like a cool candidate, but I think he’s covered with the inclusion of Drake and Solid Snake. Rogue Galaxy, eh? [...]

Actually I did toy with the idea of adding Michael to the list as a boss character

Man last week was crazy! Last Thursday saw Gametrailers TV reveal something officially that most of the gaming community, especially those of us here at PSLS, knew well in advance . Yes, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is real, but one major surprise is that the game is slated for release this holiday season. However, the segment on GTTV, as [...]Vivas Kaul commented on the blog post PS Vita Review – Mortal Kombat 3 weeks, 4 days ago · View
Man this sounds great! I just wish that for the Vita version NetherRealm had made Test Your Luck playable online. That would have been so sick! Also if they had street pass style fights via the AR mode that would have been great too. Still this sounds like a great package, and if I had [...]

Well Rockstar North is owned by Take Two, but Rockstar is actually publishing GTAV. Also Take Two doesn’t own Irrational Games they just have a publishing deal with them. Whether it extends to Infinite though I’m not completely sure.

For those of you that read through Anthony’s review of StarDrone Extreme for the Vita, you may remember that one of the negatives he mentioned about the game was the rather insidious Level Skip DLC. The DLC cost $0.99 and allowed a player to skip an unlimited number of levels in the game after it was purchased. [...]Vivas Kaul commented on the blog post Wishful Thinking: Possible DLC Ideas for Batman: Arkham City 1 month ago · View
They mention in Asylum that Bane broke Batman’s back, so in a way they are using parts of that storyline, but in a manner that is an original take on it. However, being Azrael (or at least having access to that skin while being Batman) would be pretty sick!

I considered mentioning Stephanie Brown or Jason Todd, but given where they are in the Batman mythos Todd is probably dead (unless we go with that whole multiuniverse thing, in which case he’s the Red Hood), and Brown is also probably dead or is playing the role of Spectre. It would be cool to see [...]

The folks over at Rocksteady Studios are a tight-lipped ship of passionate programmers, artists, designers, and community managers. But a leaked trophy list for a rumored Harley Quinn centric story DLC for Batman: Arkham City renewed the debates from fans regarding which characters they would like to see introduced into Arkham City via DLC. This rampant speculation has [...]Vivas Kaul commented on the blog post Amazon Offering PS3 Games Clearance 1 month ago · View
Games that I own from this list include the following: Enslaved, inFamous 2, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I would recommend all those titles accept for maybe Ace Combat…though if you’re into dog fighting then it’s worth a look. Heard that El Shaddai was cool, but I haven’t played it myself.

@Heath @Sev Guys I seriously laughed out loud when I read that in the review. That’s simultaneously the most insidious and most genius marketing idea ever crafted! I’m totally against it mind, but that brings microtransactions to a whole new level.

Actually to that point here’s some behind the scenes info. I wrote up this review roughly a week after the release of the game and, while trying to find image assets for it, I found an alarming amount of anime porn for some of the characters. I mean…a week?! I would’ve thought that it would [...]
