Darksiders is, to many, one of the standout single-player games of this generation, with the critically acclaimed title delivering more than 25 hours of solid gameplay. Although THQ already confirmed a sequel to the action-adventure game, as well as stating information on the game was incoming, the company has officially announced Darksiders II.

Darksiders 2 was confirmed as an in-development title shortly after the release of the well-received Darksiders. Although the game is still over a year away, that doesn’t keep THQ from updating us on where the wrathful series is headed.
