Hideki Kamiya has worked on many excellent games during his career in the video game business, including Okami, Viewtiful Joe, and Resident Evil 2. His latest creation, Bayonetta, might not be for everyone, but it just might be Kamiya’s greatest effort to date.
Hideki Kamiya is receiving quite a bit of attention as of late for the up his coming Sega title, Bayonetta. Kamiya has come full circle with the adrenaline fueled gameplay. Recently he spoke with Game Informer about some of his more family friendly previous works with Capcom.
Bayonetta has been receiving top scores across the board, becoming the 11th game ever to get a 10 out of 10 from Edge, and also earning full marks from Famitsu Magazine. Now, Sega has announced that the Western demo of Bayonetta will get a US and EU release next Wednesday for the PlayStation Network, as well as the Xbox Live Marketplace. Bayonetta, which will release on January 8th in the west, is the latest game from Devil May Cry creator Hideki Kamiya, who PlayStation LifeStyle recently interviewed.
Bayonetta , the highly anticipated action game from Platinum Games, will release in western markets next January for the PlayStation 3. The game centers on its title character of the same name, and is set in a fictional European city. Bayonetta is directed by Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series creator, as well as Okami mastermind, Hideki Kamiya in cooperation with publisher Sega. PlayStation LifeStyle managed to interview none other than Kamiya himself over the game, DLC, Bayonetta’s sexuality and much, much more.
