When Lords of Shadow was originally introduced briefly by Konami in 2008, no one knew what to think about it. Truth is, Konami had planned for LOS to be the new, radically different Castlevania reboot all along, but wanted to keep it a major secret, which is hard to do nowadays with internet(s).
