As seen in many of our news articles, the ESRB is leaking game announcements by the week. The software rating board recently rated PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap, and nothing has been said by Q-Games about the rating–until now, that is.

This past Thursday the long-awaited PSN game from Q-Games, Pixeljunk Shooter was released on to the PlayStation Store. However according to a tweet from Dylan Cuthbert, President of Q-Games and Executive Producer of Pixeljunk Shooter, that’s not the only place you can purchase the latest edition to the Pixeljunk series of downloadable games.
Can’t wait for Q-Games‘ latest PSN incarnation in PixelJunk Shooter? Well then you’ll want to feast your eyes on the video available after the break, which shows the game’s introductory cinematic as well as the entire first level.
With the announcement of a possible EU release date for Pixeljunk Shooter in a previous post, there also comes word of the game going gold.
Gamers all over the internet have been anxiously waiting for one of the most anticipated PSN games this holiday season, PixelJunk Shooter. So far we have not even seen a hint towards a possible release date until now.

Piracy has been one of the major issues since the PSP hit store shelves in 2005 and it’s now affecting one of the highest selling PSN games to date, PixelJunk Monsters.
