All good things come from tiny beginnings it seems, and that is the exact approach that Square Enix is taking with The 3rd Birthday. The game is releasing on the PSP and according to the games producer, it could be seeing a PS3 release in the future.

The 3rd Birthday Celebrating European Release
Tuesday, July 6th, 2010Square Enix has recently let slip that The 3rd Birthday will be releasing in Europe, though no timetable has been giving. This is great news for PSP owners in Europe as the game was originally known only for US and Japanese gamers. The 3rd Birthday is a spin-off from the Parasite Eve series and sees the return of Aya Brea to the scene, but this time she returns in a shooter game and not a survival horror as the previous two titles were.
