The PSP Go is one of the boldest and most daring decision ever made by a gaming hardware manufacturer. By utterly scrapping their disc-based format Sony truly embraced digital distribution, a move that could turn out to be truly industry defining, as the success of a solely digital platform will be seen for the first time. While Sony may have been planning to make the digital transition all along, they remained silent on how gamers could upgrade their handheld and yet keep their games.
