Sony Corporation is enforcing fiscal responsibility within its divisions, including SCE, by freezing workers’ salaries. This initiative will begin in April, and is expected to improve profitability for the company. Workers’ bonuses will also see cuts across the board from six months’ pay to 4 months.
Managers however will be given 10~20% wage reductions, as well as a 35~40% reduction in bonus earnings, as they have the largest monetary impact on the company.
