In a recent developer interview, Zipper Interactive talked about their jaw-dropping 256 online player behemoth MAG, and how they are promising to keep the framerate solid.
Zipper wowed audiences at last years E3, when they announced MAG. Back then, the game was referred to as Massive Action Game, and this game is certainly massive. With 256 players playing simultaneously on the same game server, this is something that has never been seen before in gaming.
A definite concern for many gamers would be if the frame rate would suffer, especially with all of the players and action going on. Gamers should not fret, as the staff in the Zipper’s latest developer diary state that the game will constantly remain above 30 frames per second.
