Sony recently started an £82 million ($133.5 million) advertising campaign, in Europe alone – the PlayStation’s biggest since it launched in 2007, bombarding television channels with commercials that promoted the machine’s multimedia functions. Now Sony has upped its game again, providing a wrap-around advert for the British free newspaper ‘The Metro’. 1.3 million copies of the paper are distributed across the UK, each of which are read by an average of 3 people, highlighting Sony’s commitment to the PlayStation brand.
