Betas are very popular on the PlayStation 3. Many games have certain pre-order requirements to get into a beta. Others only require a webform to be completed. ModNation Racers is joining the PlayStation beta craze, which is scheduled to be released before the year is over with.
ModNation Racers, developed by United Front Games, debuted at E3 this past summer. Many gamers were completely taken by surprise when it was introduced. Some deem this title “LittleBigPlanet on wheels” and that is a moniker the developers can be quite proud of. LittleBigPlanet has won several awards and won millions of PS3 fans hearts.
The unique racer looks a bit like other kart style racers you have seen before. Only with ModNation (aptly named) each player has the ability to customize their vehicle. Not only that but a track editor is built in that uses nearly the same interface as the game. It may sound all too familiar but remember ModRacers is all about speed and racing.
