Firmware updates for the PlayStation 3 are a hot topic this year on the internet. First with 3.0, as it was rumored to have cross-game voice chat for all titles. Though the highly anticipated feature didn’t make the cut, that doesn’t mean it isn’t coming.
A new rumor is swarming around that Firmware 3.10 will include a long-awaited feature, cross-game voice chat. This came from VG247, who state that their source had told them that Sony contacted developers to confirm that voice chat would come by the end of October.
And now, even TSA has revealed that their source has also confirmed the upcoming update, as well as cross-game voice chat. The update is supposed to come out sometime in either October or November.
